Guided by lord Shiva, the name “AdiMahesh” symbolizes the re-creation of life. We strongly believe that Shiva stands for destroying the illusions and imperfections of this world, paving the way for beneficial change. The destruction is just the beginning of a new construction, leading to a stronger and better new life!

Ishika Jain

Ishika Jain’s pursuit of weaving together a tapestry of academia and social impact began in Boston University, where she enrolled in the fall of 2018, set on majoring in Computer Science. As time went on, her desire to use her budding software skills for a greater cause led her to join the student club- Hack4Impact, which helped non-profit organizations reach a wider audience through software development and digitization. A club meeting with human rights activist Matilde Simas on the topic of human trafficking and female genital mutilation fuelled her desire to understand these issues at a global level. This led her to take up Economics as a major in addition to Computer Science, with a focus on International and environmental economics and development. She eventually added mathematics to her list of majors, in hope of using the methodical and statistical techniques, which the subject taught to facilitate her analysis of social issues. During this time, she also became a member, and later the president of the student club called Association of Computing Machinery (ACM), which held homework help-sessions and technical workshops for fellow students.

Ishika concluded her college journey with a degree in three majors, and internships at Amazon Web Services and Deloitte. It was her profound belief that technology’s nature warranted a proactive stance against the potential for misuse, and so she began her post graduate journey with a career in cybersecurity at Adani Group. This decision wasn't rooted solely in honing her technical prowess—it was an embodiment of ethics in action. By fortifying digital systems against malicious intent, she seeks to translate her concerns into concrete steps to mitigate potential harm, transforming her conviction into a force for good.

A career in cybersecurity, despite being immensely fulfilling, couldn’t pacify her burning desire to start tackling the social challenges that had piqued her curiosity in college. With the establishment of AdiMahesh Seva Foundation, she can finally visualize a way to put her thoughts into action. A staunch supporter of women's empowerment, she believes that by leveraging her position as a member of this remarkable organization, she can inspire and uplift girl children across India who are striving for recognition and equality. She hopes to one day live in an India where girl children are cherished and nurtured and is convinced that this platform would give her just the opportunity, she needs to start making this ideal a reality.
